🚨 BOSS TALK 101 INSIDER: 21 SAVAGE FACES A SHOCKING TRAGEDY.

A heartbreaking tragedy has reportedly struck rapper 21 Savage’s family.

His 14-year-old nephew, Seven Shirley, reportedly died by suicide on July 22, 2026, after an accidental shooting at a home in Stockbridge, Georgia, left his 12-year-old sister, Lyric, critically injured.

Lyric survived and is reportedly recovering in the hospital.

But beyond the headlines, the celebrity connection, and the social media conversations, there are two children and a family dealing with unimaginable trauma.

A 12-year-old girl is fighting to recover physically.

And a 14-year-old boy is gone.

This is why conversations about gun safety, children having access to firearms, trauma, mental health, and responsible firearm storage cannot be treated as political talking points or something we only discuss after tragedy strikes.

Children don’t always understand the permanence of a firearm.

Children don’t always know how to process trauma.

And families don’t always recognize what a child may be carrying emotionally until it’s too late.

This isn’t about judging a family.

It’s about asking what we can do differently to prevent another family from ever having to experience something like this.

Secure firearms. Talk to your children. Pay attention to behavioral changes. Take threats or signs of emotional distress seriously. And make sure children know where they can turn when they are scared, overwhelmed, or hurting.

Our thoughts are with Lyric as she continues to recover and with everyone who loved Seven.

🖤 BOSS TALK QUESTION:

What more can families, communities, schools, and society do to keep children safe from both firearms and the emotional trauma that can follow a tragedy?
