BOSSTALK 101 REVIEWS BREAKS DOWN FUNKMASTER FLEX’S KNICKS GAME ALTERCATION IN TWO-PART DISCUSSION
Bosstalk 101 Review

Bosstalk 101 Reviews takes viewers through a two-part conversation sparked by viral footage of a heated altercation involving Funkmaster Flex at Madison Square Garden during the New York Knicks’ season opener on October 20.
In Part 1, E CEO brings Dre From Around The Way onto the show by phone to discuss the incident and the reactions surrounding it. Defending the East Coast perspective with a joking jab, Dre says that while people in the South might “shoot first,” those on the East Coast handle situations on the spot in the name of survival.
The exchange turns more serious when E CEO describes the incident as savage behavior. Dre pushes back, saying conflict happens across all races. E CEO also raises concern about Black people attacking Black executives, arguing that it reflects poorly on the community. The conversation puts the focus on how the incident is being discussed—and how quickly a viral clip can shape a public narrative.
Then Bosstalk 101 returns with Part 2, and the temperature shifts. OG Piru joins the conversation viewers had been asking to hear, weighing in on footage that appears to show Funkmaster Flex backing away during the confrontation.
Flex has said he did not have a scratch on his face and claimed that Shadow Stokes threw a drink at him to provoke a reaction for a potential lawsuit. Stokes and his wife, former Hot 97 employee TT Torrez, were also involved in the reported suite altercation. As the footage continued circulating online, OG Piru offered his own colorful response: Flex’s face might be clean, he joked, but viewers should check his heels—because he appeared to be backpedaling at high speed.

The two reviews take sharply different approaches: Part 1 raises concerns about violence and community perception, while Part 2 brings humor to the internet’s running commentary on the footage. Together, they show how one viral clip—and the angle people take when discussing it—can send a story in very different directions.

Black Dollars Under Pressure: Houston’s Contracting Fight Is About Economic Power
A public contract can change the future of a business. It can fund payroll, create jobs, support expansion, and give an entrepreneur something to pass down. That is why Houston’s legal fight over minority contracting deserves attention far beyond City Hall. For Black business owners, the stakes include access to the public dollars their own communities help generate. On July 28, 2026, U.S. District Judge David Hittner blocked the race-conscious portions of Houston’s Minority, Women, and Small...
