BOSSTALK 101 REVIEW: RAY J’S HEALTH UPDATE RAISES QUESTIONS

Ray J’s recent comments about his health have renewed public concern. In a September livestream, he said his heart and liver were still in bad shape and admitted he had not gone back for a medical checkup. The latest report does not say he announced that he has one week left. That wording appears to be circulating online, while Ray J’s earlier comments in January described a much longer, though still alarming, prognosis: he said doctors told him he might not live past 2027.
On this Bosstalk 101 Review, E CEO voices concern and calls OG Piru, who is also in the Los Angeles area. The two get into a simple back-and-forth over whether Ray J’s latest statements should be taken as an immediate crisis or viewed in the context of earlier alarming comments. OG Piru holds no punches with his gut feelings, pointing out that this is not the first time Ray J has made grim public statements about his health.
E CEO, meanwhile, points to livestreams where Ray J appears to vape heavily and raises questions about the strain of his continued activity. Ray J has remained involved in celebrity boxing: he was knocked out in a May bout and later fought Orlando Brown in August. Those appearances may fuel discussion, but they do not tell the public what his medical condition is or what caused it.
Brandy has publicly promised to keep helping her brother, while Ray J’s latest comments leave serious questions unanswered. Without updated medical information, viewers cannot know the full picture. Are we hearing an urgent warning about his health, watching someone speak from a place of distress, or seeing both at once? Bosstalk 101 leaves that question open—and hopes Ray J gets the follow-up care he says he has avoided.
