DC Young Fly Steps Into Atlanta Hip-Hop Legacy With “Str8 frm da A”

Atlanta has always been known for honoring its musical roots, and DC Young Fly is doing just that with his latest record “Str8 frm da A.” The new anthem, teased on social media in early March 2026, features Atlanta heavyweights T.I., Young Dro, and Big Kuntry King.
The track pays homage to Atlanta’s hip-hop history by reworking the classic “Straight From The Dec” by Ghetto Mafia. Much like the original, the new version celebrates Atlanta neighborhoods, culture, and the pride that comes with being “straight from the A.”
While many know DC Young Fly for his comedy and television appearances, music has always been part of his creative identity. He previously released projects like Curb Music and has continued collaborating with artists across the Atlanta scene.

With “Str8 frm da A,” DC Young Fly taps into Atlanta’s musical lineage while standing alongside some of the city’s most respected voices. The record serves as both a celebration of Atlanta culture and a reminder that DC Young Fly’s talents extend far beyond the comedy stage.
