Women’s Independence Month

During Women’s Independence Month, we highlight women who embody resilience, power, and purpose. One name that continues to inspire many is Dre Hollingsworth — an actress, content creator, athlete, and devoted mother who turned adversity into a powerful example of strength.

Dre Hollingsworth, known to many through her social media platform @burgundre, has built a presence that reflects both authenticity and determination. With nearly 400,000 followers, she has cultivated a community that connects with her story, lifestyle, and real-life journey.

But Dre’s story goes deeper than influence.

From Adversity to Victory

Hollingsworth gained national attention after a high-profile incident involving Las Vegas police, where she was reportedly assaulted during an arrest. The situation sparked widespread conversation about accountability and justice.

Following the legal battle, Dre ultimately won a $1.2 million settlement, a moment many saw not only as a personal victory but also as a broader reminder that standing up for your rights matters.

For Dre, the moment became a turning point — proof that strength, persistence, and truth can prevail even when the odds seem stacked.

Actress, Creator, Athlete

Beyond that headline, Dre Hollingsworth is a multi-dimensional woman building her own lane.

She is:

• An Actress — appearing in The Chi Season 6
• A Content Creator — producing lifestyle and personality-driven content that resonates with thousands
• A Professional Women’s Football League Athlete — demonstrating athletic discipline and competitive drive
• An Influencer — using her voice and visibility to connect with audiences worldwide

Her journey reflects the modern reality of many women who balance multiple careers while building their own brands.

A Mother First

Perhaps the most powerful role she holds is that of mother to twin daughters.

Dre frequently shares moments of motherhood, showing the world that behind the athlete, actress, and creator is a woman committed to raising strong, confident young girls.

Her life reflects the reality many women live every day — grinding, building, and nurturing the next generation at the same time.

A Woman Standing in Her Power

Dre Hollingsworth represents something bigger than viral moments or headlines. She represents resilience, independence, and evolution.

From South Central roots to Atlanta influence, from adversity to opportunity, she continues to prove that a woman can own her story and build her future on her own terms.
