Fabio Jackson Speaks Out on the Upcoming Michael Jackson Biopic: “I Just Want It Done Right”

Michael Jackson impersonator Fabio Jackson, known across social media for his uncanny resemblance to the King of Pop, is weighing in on one of the most anticipated official Michael Jackson biopic, set for release in 2026.
Fabio, who has built a massive online following with his MJ-inspired visuals, performances, and choreography, has been a polarizing figure. Some fans call him the closest thing we’ll ever get to MJ in this generation… others criticize him for his resemblance, debating whether it’s natural, enhanced, or somewhere in between. But regardless of where people fall, Fabio Jackson has undeniably become a part of modern MJ culture.
In a recent social media post, Fabio shared his thoughts on the film, which will star Jaafar Jackson, who is Michael’s real-life nephew, under the direction of Antoine Fuqua.
Fabio kept it respectful but made his stance very clear:
“The world needs this story told with accuracy, dignity, and respect. I just want it done right.”

He didn’t criticize the casting or the production directly, but his tone suggested what many MJ fans quietly feel: any attempt to portray Michael’s legacy must handle the complexity of his artistry, humanity, and controversy with real care.
While some people love to debate Fabio’s appearance, he reminded followers that his platform has always been about preserving MJ’s artistry, not replacing him.
“I’m not Michael. No one ever will be. But my job is to honor the magic he left behind.”
He used the moment to highlight how significant this film will be for global fans who grew up on MJ’s music, style, and cultural impact.
Fabio emphasized that the biopic shouldn’t lean into tabloid narratives, the choreography and stage performance scenes need to be “spot-on”, and young audiences deserve to see the realgenius behind the glitter glove
Of course, the comment section was a warzone, but whether people rock with Fabio Jackson or not, he has positioned himself as one of the most visible MJ figures of the social media era. His comments reflect a broader conversation among fans: Michael Jackson deserves a biopic rooted in truth, not sensationalism.
Fabio might just be speaking for millions when he says:
“Get it right.”
