South Park Shawty Kicks Back With Bosstalk 101

A viral moment unfolds as the Bosstalk 101 team connects with a Houston neighborhood legend.

While visiting Houston, Texas, the Bosstalk 101 crew made it clear they had one mission on their mind — find the viral personality known as South Park Shawty. After asking around the historic South Park neighborhood and following a few local leads, the team finally came face-to-face with the woman whose spirit has touched so many people online and in the streets.

The moment instantly turned into something special.

“She was so sweet, and her spirit was so vibrant,” said Mz. Jamaica, reflecting on the encounter. What started as a simple pull-up quickly turned into a viral street moment filled with laughter, music, and authentic Houston energy.

The vibe only grew stronger when E CEO set the tone by playing some Southern Soul from Marcellus TheSinger. Without missing a beat, South Park Shawty began singing the song word for word, bringing smiles to everyone around. Even OG Piru stepped in with a protective but affectionate presence as the group shared a dance in the streets — capturing a raw, joyful clip that quickly became a standout viral moment.

Known off camera as Shantel Nelson, South Park Shawty has long been a beloved personality in Houston’s South Park community. She first gained national attention years ago for her resilience and the overwhelming support from neighbors who describe her as someone willing to “give you the shirt off her back.” Her story even caught the attention of Snoop Dogg, who visited her in 2016 and surprised her with a makeover during one of his Houston stops.

But on this day, it wasn’t about celebrity visits — it was about community, music, and a genuine moment captured by Bosstalk 101.

Sometimes the most powerful stories aren’t planned. They’re found right in the neighborhood.
