Queenie was diagnosed in June 2025 during a routine annual checkup. What followed was a difficult journey that included five months of chemotherapy from July through December and surgery in early January 2026. In February, the couple shared an emotional moment as Queenie rang the bell at Houston Methodist in Sugar Land, marking the end of treatment and the beginning of remission.
